Photography workshop Brecon Beacons

I had a great time last week leading a photography workshop in the Brecon Beacons.  Although Wales is well known for being a bit wet, (there's a reason for all those rivers and waterfalls) the weather was fantastic.  Over the three days my party photographed mountains, waterfalls, lakes and canals.  Brecon Beacons is a really varied location.  When I'm running a workshop I don't usually take any images myself; I like to give maximum time to my students.  But I did get a lovely shot of Pen-Y-Fan (the highest mountain in Brecon Beacons) on a misty morning. This shot was actually taken from my bedroom window at the farmhouse we were staying in.  Real lazy-boy photography.

I also managed a few waterfall shots on the Sunday morning after the course had finished. This small series of falls is situated at the base of Pen-y-Fan a few minutes away from where we were staying.

Looking forward to my next workshop in Dorset.   Hope the weather's just as good!
