Artescape Photography

This two-week photography course is designed for complete beginners to the world of photography. If you have absolutely no photographic experience but would like a greater understanding of how to use your camera then this is the course to consider.

 Dates for 2011 :

Monday 07-02-11 and Monday 14-02-11  Venue:  The meeting room, Champions Manor Hall, Hullbridge Rd., South Woodham Ferrers, Essex.  CM3 5LJ  8pm - 10pm.    And Weds. 11-05-11 and Weds. 18-05-11 same time and venue.  

   Week one

This lesson covers all the universal camera controls and functions to be found on most modern cameras. From basic focus and exposure modes,

understanding camera menus, adjusting white balance,choosing the right image size and quality, exposure compensation and getting the best out of the built in flash unit plus much more.

  Week two

This lesson covers the artistic side of photography such as basic composition and using the camera creatively.   Also covered: useful accessories and lenses.

The basic photography course is a stand- alone unit. If you just want to know more about how to use your cameras without delving too deeply into the subject, then that's great. It is also a very good precurser to the beginner/intermediate course that I teach which covers a much wider range of subjects in greater depth.

The price of this course is £30.00 but if taken as a precurser to my intermediate course, the cost is £25.00. per person.

The lessons are conducted in a relaxed atmosphere. The whole point is to make learning about photography enjoyable.
