The lessons have been written with Photoshop Elements in mind. This is because Elements is very reasonably priced, whilst offering all the controls and functions a photographer will need. If you decide to upgrade to the full Photoshop program later on, the skills learnt on this course are transferable. If you use a different software package, this will still be useful. However, some of the software commands may vary.
