This photography course is held in a variety of locations from Poole at the eastern end of the Dorset coast to Weymouth, further west.

The Jurassic coast is one of the most stunning, varied and awe- inspiring stretches of coastline to be found anywhere in England. From perfect crescent-shaped bays, rocky coves, boulder strewn inlets and towering cliff faces, the Dorset coast is a photographer's dream.

All aspects of photography are covered   over the course of my one, two, and three-day workshops including composition, creative use of shutter speeds and aperture, direction and quality of light, photographic filters, Histograms (digital users), camera controls, accurate exposure readings and most importantly, how to develop your photographer's eye.

My workshops are limited to a maximum of four or five people. This means that I can tailor the learning experience to each individual. You can learn in a relaxed atmosphere at your own pace. So whether you are a complete beginner or a photographer with more experience, I believe one of my workshops will be of use to you.   As with all my other courses, students will receive a set of detailed notes afterwards to help them to remember what they have learned.
