Flatford Mill and photogenic Sudbury.Twin locations on the river stour
Dates for 2012: Sat. 31-03-12, Sun 20-05-12 and Sat. 21-07-12 This course now includes a couple of great spots on the river Stour in Sudbury. Transport between locations is included and takes about twenty-five minutes. My full-day workshops are designed to cover camera technique, composition, use and quality of light, photographic filters, creative use of shutter speeds and depth of field. All students receive a set of notes covering what they have learnt.
The remains of a Victorian bathing pool and brightly painted cottages reflected in the river Stour at Sudbury make a great addition to this popular course. The church at Long Melford is one of the most photogenic in the country. As it's just a few minutes up the road from Sudbury, I think it'a a great addition to the day's itinerary. | |
 | Constable country, Flatford Mill in particular is a beautiful un-spoilt area of lowland countryside on the Suffolk/ Essex border. This spot offers many locations to learn from and try out various photographic techniques. |
My seminars are about learning to improve your photography in a relaxed and enjoyable ennvironment with like-minded individuals. The atmosphere and timeless quality of Flatford Mill is perfect for this. Suitable for beginners to all levels of experience. |
| | | | Flatford Mill is a fantastic location to visit at any time of the year. My seminars run thoughout the year encompassing all four seasons. |
A reasonable level of fitness is required as there is about 2-3 miles of walking during the day although it is mostly over level ground with just the odd incline, so it's not too arduous an experience. The workshops are limited to a maximum of five people and are run thoughout the year. The cost per person is £75.00. A full itinerary of the day's tuition is available upon request. Block booking discounts are available. |
To book a place or for further details please call Steve on (01245)323519 or email via the contacts page. Although this is a one day workshop, if you require accommodation please try the link below. www.choosesuffolkcoastal.co.uk
