Week 2 includes :

Week 6 Portraiture, includes :

Portrait lighting, posing your subject, how background affects the mood of an image.  Plus location portraiture.  You will also get a chance to practice taking portraits in class during this lesson.

Over the six-week course, I aim to cover a wide range of subjects.  Each one will be talked about in enough detail to be useful without it being so technical it leaves you cold and detracts from the picture taking process.

You will be supplied with a full set of notes each lesson.  These are yours to keep for future reference.

This course is aimed at the beginner and intermediate photographer. It's

about "developing your eye" and learning the skills needed to capture and produce fantastic photographs.

The lessons are classroom-based with practical elements such as the setting up of studio lights and a portrait sitting. Each week, you will be encouraged to go out and take some photographs. Sometimes on a specific subject. This is optional. If you don't have time one week, it will not affect what is being covered during the lesson. There will be time at the end of the class to assess your best image of the week.

During this time I have built up a wide range of knowledge through both professional and personal work. I find it very rewarding to pass on the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years. I am qualified with the Master Photographers Association which is a body made up of professional photographers. I love being a photographer. It's a great hobby or profession.  If you would like to improve your own skills, why not join me on one of my photography courses?
