Sussex Coast Photography Course
Dates for 2012: Sat. 28-01-12, Sat. 07-04-12, Sun. 08-07-12 and Sat. 01-12-12
This full-day photography workshop takes in a varied stretch of the south coast. From the dramatic chalk cliffs of Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters to the elegant piers of Eastbourne and Brighton the photographic potential is enormous.
All levels of ability are catered for. Because the maximum number of photographers on each course is limited to five, I can work with photographers of differing photographic experience. During the day various subjects will be covered as a group. For the rest of the workshop I will cover areas of photography that each individual wishes to concentrate on and that I feel they they will gain the most benefit from. My photography courses are designed so that each photographer learns as much as they can in a day without feeling under pressure. I think if you are enjoying yourself you will undoubtedly learn more.
Many subjects are covered from the technical side of photography to the the more artistic. Creative depth of field, creative use of shutter speed, exposure, understanding exposure histogram, camera controls, white balance, point of focus,"developing the eye", composition, creative use of light and colour. These are all areas of photography I like to explore during the workshop.
The Sussex coast course runs throughout the year and costs £75.00 per person. During the winter months an optional night shoot is included. A full set of notes is included in the cost of the course. Transport between locations is also included.
I normally suggest students bring a packed lunch. This means we have more time for photography which is the object of the day. The only exceptiion would be during the colder winter months.
For further details or to book a place on this workshop please either call us on (01245)323519 or email via the contacts page and we'll be happy to help you. |
