Like many major cities London looks spectacular at night. With this in mind I have developed a number of night shoots in London. For this course we meet up outside the Starbucks Cafe in Liverpool Street main line station in the city.
The best time for night time photography is just after sunset when there is still some reflected light present, which gives rise to those silky blue tones in the sky. Because of this the start time for this workshop will vary depending on the time of the year.
All the locations are very close to each other on this workshop because ideal lighting conditions don’t last forever. We need to make the most of the light while it’s there.
Some of the most exciting buildings are to be found in the city area of London. If you like modern skyscrapers, especially when they are lit up at night then this is the course for you. These modern masterpieces are fantastic to photograph. We will photograph a number of buildings in the city.
All the techniques relevant to night photography will be covered on this course along with along with developing an eye for composition.
Because this is a night shoot a tripod is essential for this workshop. If you don’t have a tripod please don’t worry too much as I have a couple of tripods that I lend out to students.
This course is limited to a maximum of six students. By keeping the numbers low I can give each participant as much individual attention as they need.
